Experiential Installations for Google Spaces
Google, 2015
ACME explored new ways for customers to interact with Google’s digital products through physical experiences. From concept to prototype, we re-imagined how Google Spaces would promote imagination, connectivity, and simplicity for an entirely new retail experience.
Fiber Concept Store
An interactive scale model was used to present concepts for a future Google Fiber store location in Austin Texas. The installation incorporated mechatronics, sensors, projection mapping, and a custom tablet app for control.
Pixel Path
Electromechanical flip-dot displays were configured in interactive tunnel installation. Using depth sensors, the tunnel tracked multiple simultaneous users who influenced generative animations.
Wonder Wall
A seamless 75’x15’ rear projection wall brought turned Google search into an interactive, multi-user experience. The wall incorporated positional tracking, floor projection, voice search, and gaze tracking.
